Turvey Primary

Turvey Lower school is a small rural lower school set in the picturesque village of Turvey in North Bedfordshire. It is almost directly on the mid point between Bedford, Milton Keynes and Northampton.
We are a happy and caring school where a love of learning is inspired in our children by a stimulating environment. Every child is valued and respected and encouraged to be an independent learner, and our children’s achievements are celebrated.
We have spacious grounds which the children enjoy using.
We have high expectations of positive behaviour and attitudes, and Ofsted report that the children at Turvey Lower School feel safe and secure here.
The school enjoys a good relationship with our children, families and wider community and we encourage the children to take a full part in our community such as our gardening projects, local competitions and celebrations at our local church.
Currently the children transfer to Harrold Middle School at the end of Year 4 (age 9). In September 2017 we will become a primary school and the children will transfer to Sharnbrook Academy at age 11.
