St James Primary School

St James’ is a small school in the village of Biddenham, just outside of Bedford. There are 170 pupils on roll, from Years Reception to 6.
As a Church School, we are proud of our distinctive and inclusive Christian ethos, using the symbol of the Rainbow to reflect our Promise that we will love and support every child in the best way we are able. At the heart of our school are the values of love, compassion, friendship, respect, forgiveness, honesty, joy and peace.
Our children are highly motivated and enjoy their learning. They are well supported by their parents and we enjoy very positive relationships with them. Behaviour is good. We are also very well supported by our Governors, particularly in terms of financing high quality CPD opportunities.
